Happy November! My name is Tom South, your current Kingfish, and this is the Kingfish Korner.
A little financial update on the club. We are in good shape, managing through very difficult times, as everybody knows. Taking a deferral on the mortgage is helping with cash flow.
COVID is persisting longer than anyone anticipated and we are in the process of reforecasting the budget. December is by far the most profitable month of the year for the Club as a result of private parties and banquet business. Due to COVID-19 restriction we will not be able to do the volume we’ve done in previous years so this reforecasting will help make the budget more accurate to the current climate.
The board is looking at a few cost cutting measures. They will be small changes and if adopted, they will be clearly communicated. Stay tuned.
Food & Beverage minimums will not be extended beyond the end of this year. Don’t wait, use your minimums.
Ways to use your minimums:
Dine At The Club. Lunch, dinner or one of the upcoming events. Keep in mind, December reservation openings will be limited as the club will be closed for private events so please plan accordingly.
Order To-Go. For yourself, for date night, a dinner party or treat your neighbors… You can place your order online or call the club.
Take Part In Philanthropy Meals. You can coordinate something on your own like Michael Spiedel & Michael Treinen or you can contact Cherie to set up something club-wide like The Boise Rescue Meals and The Catch Meals.
Book A Private Event. Contact Rachel to use the Private Dining Rooms, The Cove, The Boardroom or The Card Room.
